Well, because of our fabulous weekly track record I was very worried for Stake Conference this past Sunday. I wanted to be prepared with something for the children to do that would still stay within the bounds of our regular meetings (we only allow our children to draw in their church notebooks). I decided to print up a bunch of coloring pages from the Friend and let the children color during the Conference.
I am very happy to report that this was one of the most successful Stake Conferences we have had. All five children were reverent and not one had to be taken out. I don't mean to boast, but it was very exciting for me! We can't make it through a meeting that's 1 hour and 5 minutes, but hey, give us a 2 hour meeting and we're okay! Sweeeet!

What? Are you kidding me? I can't imagine how I'd keep 5 busy during a Stake Conference. As it is I struggle with my one! Way to go!
That's so funny! I hadn't noticed that you take Amber out every week (I've only noticed a couple times). I'm totally going to be watching you now!
Congratulations on sitting through Stake Conference. Our kids can sit through a regular sacrament meeting but stake conference...that's another story. I don't know how many times they absolutely "had" to get a drink. That's what happens when you get there only 10 minutes early and the only spots left are right next to the door in the back!
That is so great! I didn't even go because Ted was already breaking the sabbath by going hunting and I wasn't about to take the kids ALONE! BTW The 20th.. which is a saturday is the digital scrap class. At 2:00. Call me if you want to come with me. 766-6163.
Congrats and all, but hey---we missed you in the nursery room :) Emmi and Lizzie were waiting and waiting for the barkers to show up (hee hee.) Great job, mamma mindi. High five barker kids. Now if the blomquist kids could make it through a meeting . . .
