Nachoooooooooooooo!

I just have to say, I have been listening to the Nacho Libre soundtrack all day and I can't get over how funny it is. I love all the quotes and just the pure silliness of it all. When I turned on one of the songs, I looked in the back seat of the car and Landon was totally jammin' to it. I wish so bad I had had a video camera - too funny for words. Nacho Libre may be a really dumb movie (that I happen to like), but you must admit it is extremely quotable!

"When I was in the wilderness, I wrote a song for Incarnacion . . . in my mind. Want me to sing it for you?"

It's time again . . .

It's time again for me to go off of sugar, fruit, and yeast products until I have my baby next month. For those of you who don't know, I suffered from Post-partum Depression and Anxiety after my first two children and it was the most AWFUL experience of my life. After a lot of searching and figuring out ways to take care of the problem, I found that I have Estrogen Dominance and when I deliver my babies and lose all the Progesterone so quickly, it sends my body/mind into a panic. I discovered that if I get all of the sugar and yeast out of my body before delivery, my Estrogen levels go down and therefore, when I deliver, my body does not experience such an imbalance of hormones as it should. I have gone off of sugar/yeast a month previous to my last three pregnancies and have had NO problems with depression or anxiety whatsoever! Yeah. So here I go again, except that this time, I am not really going to miss it that much. I have not really eaten very many sugary things this pregnancy and I haven't craved yeast products like I normally do. I am so excited to have my baby and I think this last month is going to fly by!!!

Labor Day

Yesterday was Labor Day and we had a fun time up at Jordanelle. (I forgot my camera, so I don't have any pictures to post.) My mom has been going out with a really nice guy, Craig P., and we spent the day with his family and my family at the Lake. I really liked his kids and everyone seemed to get a long great! All of the grandkids became friends very quickly as well. We went to Craig's cabin in Park City afterwards and played some games. I don't know what will happen with my mom and Craig, but if things do progress and they end up getting married, I think the transition will be very smooth. Everyone seems to like everyone else a lot. :)

Landon decided to start walking - Yeah!

I went to Education Week and Park City with my mom and sister's a couple weekends ago and when I called Jason Saturday morning, he said that Landon started walking. Really?! Jason said that while he was sitting in our bedroom, he looked over at Landon and Landon all of a sudden stood up and started walking to the kitchen. No way! There was no one there trying to coax him into walking, he just stood up and started walking. I couldn't believe it! I was so bummed that I wasn't there to see it. When I got back, I had a lot of fun watching him wobble around. I am so glad he is walking - one less thing to have to worry about when the baby is born.

An Amazing Wall!

Yesterday we went and visited my Grandma Darrington in Brigham City. She has the most amazing Pedigree wall I have ever seen. It has her entire posterity, including dates of birth, marriages, death, etc. and there is a picture with each person. Each person is numbered in the order that they were added to the family, whether by birth or marriage. Grandma gave each of the children a certificate with their name and number - it was really special! I'm so happy that she has such an amazing wall of rememberance! (I tried to capture pictures of it as best I could.)

First Day of School

What can I say, it's that time of year again and I think we were all excited for school to start. We had a great summer, but the kids are ready to be back in school and mom is ready for that school schedule again . . . I think?

Park City

Last week we went up to Park City and stayed at the Marriott Summit Watch with my mom. I came up earlier in the day and we walked Main Street with the kids then went to the park. Jason came after work and we had dinner in the room then went swimming. After the kids went to bed, we watched a movie with my mom. Jason went to work in the morning and I stayed with my mom until early afternoon. We had a great time! Thanks Mom!
