Rustic Family Pictures

We went and had our family pictures taken a couple weeks ago by Audrey Photography (audreyphotography.blogspot.com) and she did a great job. Landon was kind of cranky and Amber was beyond hyper but we managed to pull off some darling pictures regardless.

We had a funny experience too. Audrey had us pose by this old trailer that had been filled with manure, but she didn't realize that's what it was. She had Amber get inside and I jokingly told Amber "you get to be by the poop - ha ha" - As we were leaving, we thanked the owner of the farm and he said, "I've never had anyone pose in the manure truck before." When Audrey realized that that's what the truck was for, she said, "Oh, no, I thought it was just dirt." We had a pretty good laugh.

Keira's Blessing Day

Sunday, November 8th, was Keira's baby blessing and here are some pictures of the day.

Great-Grandma Darrington - Tracy and her kids went up to Brigham City to pick up Grandma so that she could come to the blessing. It was so great to see her and she seemed to really enjoy the day.

The Barker family LOVES their Iphones and Ipod Touch's - this is just a glimpse of what it's like when the Barkers are together ;)

It was a great day and we really appreciated all the family that came out to visit. It was really funny, because in Sacrament Meeting when Bro. Hepworth was announcing that we were blessing our baby, he realized that he did not have any of her information, like her name. He said, "I don't have any information on the Barker baby, but at least I know they had a little boy." Everyone knows we had a girl, so you can imagine all the laughs. When Jason went up to do the blessing, the Bishop leaned over to him and said, "that is the cutest boy I have ever seen." It was pretty funny.

Keira

We had family pictures taken last Saturday and this is what Keira looked like when we came home - it was too darling to not capture. She slept through the whole photo shoot and I was amazed she was still asleep when we got home.

Halloween Day

Halloween Day we went up to the Barker's to visit, then Jason took the kids Trick-or-treating while I stayed home and passed out candy.

The night before Halloween, my mom had a fun Halloween party at her house with my brothers and sisters and their kids. She sent us invitations and everything. The kids had a blast!

"That Girl!"

This morning when I got home from driving carpool, I left Keira in the car for a minute to get something for Landon. Amber looked at me with a VERY concerned look and said, "MOM! Aren't you going to get that girl out of the car!"

I guess I need to make sure that Amber knows that 'that girl' is her sister and her name is Keira. Too funny!
