My favorite meal on earth right now is the Steak Skewers at Texas Roadhouse . . . they are da bomb!!! Jason took me there for Valentine's Day and then we came home to a fun treat at the door for the kids. :)

The Rose
Jason knows how much I love roses and every year he gives me roses for Valentine's Day. This year was no different, even though our budget is all going towards his Doctorate. Thanks Jason! I sure love being your sweetheart!
Unintentional Half Marathon
I set out for a 10 mile run one morning and when I hit 10 miles I felt so good, I was curious to see if I could run a Half Marathon in under two hours. The last three miles ended up being much harder than I expected, but I did it!!! 1 hour 56 minutes! I could walk worth a darn afterward and it was my first day of cub scouts, but I was glad I did it. :)
Casualty
The case to my iTouch has always been a little bit and unfortunately today the iTouch fell out of the case while Landon was holding it and it hit the tile floor. I couldn't even get mad at Landon because he was so instantly mortified and apologetic. I'm super bummed it happened, but no one was more bummed than Landon. I felt so bad that he was reacting the way he was and I just held him in my arms on the couch. He then looked up at me and said, "I just wish we could go to Disneyland because it's always happy there." Poor guy! First we move him away from his friends and then this. :(
Park Day
A couple weeks after we moved in, I took the kids to the park to get out of the house. It was a little bit chilly, but compared to the winter up North, it was great!
Kelsea's New School
This is Kelsea's new school. Since she was still living up North attending her old school, we checked out the new school for her and sent her a report. It's different down here because they have Intermediate schools with 6th and 7th Graders and they do not hadvanced classes like Vista Heights. Kelsea was in the ACAD program up North so all of her core classes were accelerated. She was very worried about giving that up by coming down here, but it has all worked. They put her in Advanced Math and that is what she was most concerned about. The kids at the school have been very welcoming and she is trying to get used to the compliments she has been getting about how pretty she is ;) . . . her friends tell her that boys are "crushing" on her and it embarrasses her a bit.
