Super Landon FHE

Brianna helped Landon with his Family Home Evening lesson on Monday night and turned him into Super Landon.  They performed a play for us where Landon was the Choose the Right Super Hero.  It was so adorable and the most reverent the kids have ever been during Family Night. :)

Bell Canyon Run

Our last day in Sandy, I went on the most beautiful run!  It was about 8 miles and I ran to it from Jason's parents front door.  I went on Wasatch Blvd. to the Bell Canyon Trailhead and I couldn't believe how gorgeous it was when I got to the lake.  The trail was really rocky and difficult to run, but it was SO pretty.  I can't believe I grew up in Sandy and have never been on that trail! Wow!

More Vacation Fun

We went and stayed with the Barkers for a couple days after staying with my mom for 5 days and the vacation fun continued.  I drove the kids out to Saratoga Springs a couple more times and the kids had a blast playing with their friends.

Surprise

Nick and Mariah went to St. George to stay with Jason when we came up to visit, so Jason decided to hitch a ride home with them and surprise us in Sandy.  The kids were thrilled and so was I. We ALWAYS love having Jason with us!  He's just the sweetest, best person you could ever imagine and we all adore him!

Memorial Day

It was so great being able to be with my family on Memorial Day!  We went to the Gibbs Family Reunion up in Portage and it was awesome.  I loved seeing all of my mom's extended family and seeing the great program of talent that was put on!

After the reunion we visited my Dad's grave then went to my mom's house for a BBQ.  I sure love my family! (Oh, and I was so grateful because Brianna was staying at Ben and Shannon's and sweet Ben drove her all the way to the cemetery to meet us. I was very grateful AND I was super excited to see Brianna!)
