This is Corbyn and his friend, Zach, showing off Corbyn's Lego Agents set from Christmas. Corbyn said, "I'm never going to take this set apart. " Well, that lasted about one month, then he took it apart and started building a bunch of different things with all the pieces. He is now rebuilding the whole set and it's like Christmas all over :)

Week Seven
Well, I knew this week would come. Despite the fact that I worked out a ton and still ate well (maybe a few more calories than usual), I did not lose any weight. During the week, I weighed myself and had lost two more lbs., but by this morning when I did my official weigh in, I weighed 164 lbs., just like last week. That's okay though. I am still going to keep working hard because I know this will not happen each week from here on out. I know I can lose the 20 more pounds in the next few months.

Dinosaur Museum
Yummy
I happened upon some really yummy whole wheat pizza crusts and started a fun little tradition for our Monday night dinners - each week one of the children gets to decorate the kid pizza any way they like, then I decorate the one for Jason and me - can you tell which section is mine? ;) It has been really fun, is super yummy, and is pretty healthy considering the alternative.

Week Six
I reached my goal!! Yeah! I weigh 164lbs. - 2 lbs. less than last week. I do not plan to stop, though! I want to keep going until my birthday and see how much more I can lose. It has only been six weeks and I am down 20 lbs. - I hope that I can lose another 15 - 20 lbs. by April!
Here's what I did last week:
8 Feb - Treadmill 33, Bike 37, Weights 30, 1100 cal
9 Feb - Stairs 10, Bike 40, Weights 20, 1200 cal
10 Feb - Bike 30, Treadmill 37, Weights 25, 1300 cal
11 Feb - Stairs 25, Bike 20, DDR 25, 1200 cal
12 Feb - 1100 cal
13 Feb - Stairs 20, Bike 20, 1200 cal
I always believed that eating healthy, eating less, and exercising more would take too long to lose any significant amount of weight . . . I was wrong. I feel like these past 6 weeks have flown by! It's always SO hard to start something like this because you just think about how long it will take and how impossible it seems to do. It's amazing how much it empowers you, though, once you begin and stick with it! When you see the weight coming off and you know that you are benefiting from your hard work, it makes you want to keep going . . . and going . . . and going! :)

Week Five
I just got back from my "last chance workout" and I'm ready to report on what I did last week.
1 Feb - Bike 30, Treadmill 20, Weights 25, 1100 cal
2 Feb - DDR 20, 1200 cal
3 Feb - Weights 20, 1700 cal
4 Feb - Weights 20, Stairs 11, Bike 45, Basketball 45, 1400 cal
5 Feb - Stairs 10, Bike 60, Treadmill 30, Weights 30, 1700 cal
6 Feb - Stairs 10, Bike 30, 1200 cal
It's becoming more of a lifestyle and I like it. I still have not had a single treat since January 4th and, surprisingly, I don't mind. I know that I will start having treats again, but I am not sure when . . . I don't want to ruin a good thing, especially since I am really not missing having the treats.
My new weight is: 166 lbs., I lost 4 lbs. this week, yippee!!! It might have helped a little that Fast Sunday was yesterday ;)
I'm down a total of 18 lbs. since I started and my goal is 20 lbs. by April. Well, I am sure you know as well as I know that I will not be content to stop at 20 lbs.! I am just going to keep going and see what happens.

Playroom Sleepover
For Christmas we surprised the kids and turned our playroom into a second family room. When their cousins were in town, we let them all have a sleepover in the playroom and watch movies. They were so excited! (We love having the couch up in the playroom!!! It's great to have another place to gather and there is still plenty of room behind the couch for all their toys.)

My new weight is: 170 lbs. - I lost 1 lb. and I am totally okay with that! I was scared that this would be my week that I didn't lose any or possibly gain a pound, so 1 lb. is awesome. That's 14 lbs. so far and I'm gonna keep on going!
