Four Generations

My mom and Grandma came to town for Amber's Baptism and we took her out to dinner to the place of her choice.  I CANNOT believe I put this in my body!  It has been 15+ years since I have had a Big Mac!

Kid's Chore Chart

Our kids have been complaining way too much about chores and have not been accomplishing the few things we ask of them in this smaller home.  Well, this is what I came up with and it seems to be working great!  The kids do not complain as much and the work gets done.  I am very pleased! (I wish we had more work for the kids to do, but our house is so much smaller than our last one and it is just really clean all the time.  I'm trying my best to make sure that they are all learning the value of work.  Oh, and they each have their own dish night which seems to be working great!)

Vegas Tournament

Kelsea played in her first basketball tournament since our move and it was the happiest she has been since we left Saratoga Springs.  She played so well and she finally felt like a part of a team.  The girls on her team were so nice and she loved playing with them and hanging out with them.  The games were really late at night and we had been hanging out at the hotel all day with all the kids so it was a little tough, but in the end I am so glad we brought the entire family down to support her and Landon had a great birthday :)

Lake Las Vegas

We had the fun opportunity to go stay at The Westin at Lake Las Vegas at the end of April with our entire family and it was so much fun!  Jason had class in Vegas, Kelsea had a basketball tournament, and it was Landon's 5th Birthday so we thought it would be a perfect opportunity to use our free hotel stay there from Jason's points.

Wow! We had no idea it was SO nice! It was super fancy and I have to admit I was a little bummed that Jason and I didn't use it for ourselves to have a nice, romantic night away.  The kids had a ton of fun though so it was totally worth it!

Baptisms for the Dead

Kelsea and I went to do baptisms for the dead at the St. George Temple one night and I haven't done that in probably 17 years.  It was so neat to do that with Kelsea and it brought back great memories of when I used to go to the Jordan River Temple every Tuesday morning at 4:15 a.m. to do baptisms for the dead when I was in High School.  I loved those times and I hope Kelsea can have those same opportunities as she's growing up. I sure love my sweet Kelsea!
