The 4th of July

Over the 4th of July, we went down to St. George with our good friends, the Brueck's. We stayed at Jason's parent's vacation home and were very grateful that they were sweet enough to let us bring our friends. We had a great time, but it was VERY HOT!!! We had to stay in doors most of the time, expect for the 8 or 9 times that we went swimming. :) We played lots of games and the kids enjoyed the Wii and watching movies. We attempted going on a hike, but it was SO hot that we had to turn around and head back to the house.

Thanks Jennie and Dave for coming along - we hope that this was a little repayment for going up to Bear Lake last year :)

Keira fell asleep on the hike and it scared me to death, at first, because I thought she had passed out from the heat!

When everyone was out swimming one afternoon, I took the liberty of lining up the shoes that were left up against the wall. Well, when everyone got back, this is what I saw when I walked by - I guess they decided to follow suit :) It was pretty funny.
