Kelsea's 9th Birthday

Yesterday was Kelsea's 9th Birthday and it was a wonderful day!

Kelsea really wanted to help make the cupcakes, and . . .

she did all of the decorating.

We had a Halloween birthday party with 18 of her friends and it was a lot of fun! We played musical chairs, Halloween Cakewalk, and Halloween Pictionary.

When Kelsea opened her presents she had to guess who the giver was by the sound of their "weird" voice and if she missed . . .

She got bumped on the head.
(She's got a goose ache from all the times she missed.)

When it was time for bed, Kelsea said, "This was the best birthday ever."
Ahhhh, success!

I love you, Kelsea!!!

Oh that is the best thing a kid could say. Court told me that I make the best cookies today and it made my heart melt. I offered him three more. :) Sometimes the rewards of motherhood can't be measured

Yes, your party skillz are amazing--my kids LOVED it and had such a great time. (Although Aubs was worried about bumping Kelsea on the head with the 2 lb. bag of candy in there :) And the collage thing on your blog is sweet! Is that through the site Devon uses or through costco?? Nice!

Your kids are getting so big. I can't believe Kelsea is 9yrs old. Where did the time go? It seems like yesterday we were all at April's cabin just having fun and laughing.

You are pretty brave to 18 kids there!! It looked like tons of fun and I'm sure you were glad it was nice enough to be outside!
